What drives me to succeed? Without hesitation, I will tell you that my wife and kids are the ‘driving force’ behind my goals in business and living up to my personal ethics/morals in life.
My wife and I were married in 2001 and have since been blessed with four children, born in 2003, 2005, 2008 and our fourth child (our second son) was born in 2011.
The “Chapman family” is much larger than just my wife and children, as I come from a family of 13 siblings (yes, we all came from the same mother and father). My parents raised us all to be open minded, accepting and caring towards others and helped us to develop the entrepreneurial spirit. I started my first business as a mobile auto-detailer at the age of 18 to save up money for the next period of my life.
At the age of 19, I made the decision to leave my home and family for 2 years. It was a tough decision as I am very close with my family. I served a church mission in Veracruz, Mexico from 1999 through 2001. While there, I learned Spanish fluently and have been able to use that to extend my business services to help the Spanish speaking population in Southern California and am able to use that also with the expanding latino population in our Utah office.
You never find me far from home on the weekends, as I love being with my wife and children and to this day I prefer hanging out with my family over a night out with friends (sorry friends, you’re fun, but not first on my list).
